Today was a nearly 12-hour day starting at 6:30 in the morning. In the middle of a congregational meeting, this little fella was fast asleep on a chair. It made me happy that one of us was getting the rest we needed! ;)

Introducing Micah Dahlberg. He is freakin' awesome live and I'm excited to see where he goes in the music industry.

Oh yes, I did get to meet him (and got totally weak at the knees... he's dreamy ;) ).

It was an overcast day in newport beach! I met up with my favorite freshman grace (well, no longer...) at sprinkles cupcakes.

Since I had a couple hours to kill in north OC before community group, I decided to linger in Brea's downtown.

My dinner date got postponed, so it was dinner for one at Flamebroiler.

My sister and I met up with our cousin Jenny for lunch at El Rocoto, a Peruvian place. Good company and good food! What a great combo! ;)

I went to the LA Dodgers game vs. the Colorado Rockies. It was my pastor's son Joshua's first baseball game.

We said "monster faces" for this picture. Apparently, he doesn't know how to do any face except a cute one. (Don't ask me why he insisted on bringing a football to a baseball game)

I helped my sister move into her apartment today. Dude, that's two times in one week!

After an entire day of moving, my sister and I decided to celebrate by driving the half-mile to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.

Sarah's roommate brought champagne to celebrate the new apartment! Haha, she's so cute. We drank a little bubbly as we finished unpacking.

Good Lord, I am officially homeless now.

Off to Court!

As excited as I was to start my break today, I had to hold off on rejoicing a bit. I had jury duty today in Santa Ana. It actually wasn't too bad, minus the fact I had to walk about a mile and a half during my lunch break...

I went to a Japanese teriyaki place (one of two Asian food places within a two mile radius of the court house). I don't know if it was the heat or just my attention span, but after I finished eating, I couldn't figure out what I ate in my bento box. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of tempura I had...

Of course, eating alone requires my handy iPod, notebook, and micron pen! (For jury duty, you could say I spent the entire time drawing. Oh bureaucracy :( !)

I had lunch with friends today at a dim sum place. Such good food!Just a glimpse of all the weird-looking but tasty food.

Chicken feet. I was open to trying it, but it was hard for me not to think of the wrinkly, thick-skinned feet of live chickens! After getting over that, it ended up being pretty good.

Janice, one of my sister's good SD friends, was studying to complete her master's program in art last year in New York. She recently moved back to SoCal and invited us to her first art show out on this coast at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine. I didn't take more pictures of the place (I'm totally regretting it) but it was a cool ambiance by the pool with lights and tents!
